Whether you have ever exclaimed “how do you make this?” or have scoffed, “I bet I could make that” when a meal is presented at a restaurant, perhaps this cooking course is for you. Find out for yourself what it's like to cook in a restaurant kitchen while learning to cook like a bona fide, fancy pants chef. Ayan Erkov is the head chef of The Manse, one of the more distinguishably delicious restaurants of Adelaide. Armed with his significant knowledge backed by his impressive resume, Ayan will reveal his tricks of the trade by demonstrating how to cook up to four glorious courses.
The class will take place in the commercial kitchen of Outdoors on Parade where a mirror placed on the ceiling will give you a bird's eye view of Ayan's activity. After each course is prepared, the team at Outdoors on Parade will help to plate up the creations and serve them to the class. The Manse has teamed up with Henschke winery in pairing the cuisine with the flavours of this vineyard. You don't have to be a whiz in the kitchen to enjoy this fun night out; what with wine tasting, food sampling and take home recipes you'll be inspired to cook like a five-star chef.
